AMBER ARTS, presented by Edward Dickinson who lives half of his time Amber, is a new binational project in Amber (near Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, India). It is a Britindia project being set up to promote the arts, celebrate creative capital, improve the local economy & encourage cultural “trade”. Amber is an ancient town, once the Royal seat. Historically it has been a major focus of artistic exploration with artists and artisans brought in to the royal court. Its economy is largely based on tourist visits to Amber Palace but currently visitors tend to spend only a few hours in the town.
